People suffering from high blood pressure can benefit from consuming this superfood. It has significant impact in lowering cholesterol levels especially if consuming of about 4 fresh garlic cloves a day is done. This is the equivalent amount of allicin needed to treat high blood pressure.
2. Heart Diseases
Most heart diseases such as strokes and heart attacks are caused by high blood pressure. When proper blood level is maintained, heart ailments can be reduced significantly. This herb helps combat the bad cholesterols by lowering it while the good cholesterols are unaffected by its effects.
3. Different Types of Cancers
Recent studies show that garlic helps kill cancer cells such as leukemia. It also helps in slowing down the development of tumor in the colon, stomach, bladder, and prostate. Combining garlic and salt

Simply cut a clove of garlic and rub one of the halves (the cut part) to your aching tooth. Do this gently for about 10 minutes and then chew the remaining garlic to get more of its juice and add more healing effects. This will also help to strengthen the immunity of the affected tooth.
Use as mouthwash
To do this, you need to crush at least 4 cloves of garlic and place them in a cup of water. Add a teaspoon of salt then pour in some hot water to make a cup of this solution. Mix and leave the solution until warm enough to use as mouthwash. Do as often as needed.
If fresh garlic isn’t available, applying garlic powder on the tooth can also help. Just use a cotton bud with some water to absorb the powder. You can also make a paste by adding a few drops of water. Leave the compounds for several minutes and reapply until the pain subsides. Rinse with warm salted water after application.
